NHS

Employed as a Clinical Psychologist, I worked in various clinical teams across the lifespan, offering assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation.

As the sole Positive Psychology practitioner in the South West, I instigated the use of this model as a clinical tool with patients, as well as an organisational tool to improve colleague mental health.

My services gained excellent results, with 96% of people saying that they’d actively recommend it.

British Virgin Islands

Following the devastation of the category 5 hurricane Irma, I was asked to spend time with survivors on the islands offering specialist mental health support.

Alongside health care practitioners, charity organisations and the local communities, we initiated the first mental health interventions in a culture which had none in place previously.

I am honoured to continue working with various individuals remotely, therapeutically and organisationally.

The mission of the University of Exeter is to make the exceptional happen by challenging traditional thinking and defying conventional boundaries.

I am pleased to be a part of the university’s Leadership initiatives to improve employee wellbeing.

By designing a bespoke toolkit, I am educating team leaders in positive practices and offering wellbeing support to all staff.

As one of the world’s leading property agents, Savills take pride in providing best-in-class advice for individuals, businesses and institutions with their property decisions.

Through consultation and online webinar support, I assist their Cardiff based team in best practices to sustain good mental health at work.

The team are utilising positive techniques in order to function at their very best for their customers.

The ethos is all about building connections that really matter, so it’s no surprise that Virgin Media have embarked on the Positive Wellbeing Programme - embedding proactive mental health strategies for their people.

With a series of interactive workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions, I offer bespoke services to individuals and teams, equipping them with the skills to be their best at work. They’re continually learning new and fun ways to enhance positivity, harness their strengths and achieve success in ways that are meaningful to themselves and their organisation.

At the time they became the 5th most valuable company globally, they invited me to host their ‘motivational moments’ for all staff to attend, where we explored how authenticity works wonders for personal and business success.

Royal Air Force

‘Through adversity to the stars’ is the Royal Air Force motto, an organisation which works hard to protect the nation through air and space.

Providing assistance, responding to threats and avoiding conflict calls for resilience and mental strength. I provide positive leadership for managers and defence trainers, raising awareness so that they can all be the most effective they can be, within their vital roles.

With a purpose of helping people and businesses prosper, Santander aims to act responsibly and earn lasting loyalty.

To support bringing fairness, passion and collaboration to work, by showing respect and supporting people, I supplied a 500-person strong package focused on appreciation - a concept underpinning the company values.

New and existing staff reported feeling fortunate to work for such a forward thinking company and were more able to put positive practices in place for their colleagues and customers.

Virgin Group

Employed as the National Lead for Colleague Wellbeing for Virgin Care and working alongside other companies within the Virgin Group, including Virgin Limited Edition, Virgin Management, and Virgin Trains.

I designed and led ‘Mindcoach’, their national wellbeing programme, incorporating an online platform, face to face workshops and a mobile app. To make this scalable, I trained and coached a team of wellbeing champions who delivered MindCoach in their localities.

Mindcoach has been successfully embedded throughout the organisation by the Virgin Care leadership team.

As an authorised supplier of Positive Psychology events for Plymouth University, known drivers for economic innovation and advancement, catalysts for social change and champions of cultural development.

I deliver growth mindset and resilience programmes for the Planning and Analytics department, to support them in their 2020 mission of advancing knowledge and transforming lives.

Continually exploring new ways to help consumers improve their financial wellbeing, Experian are simultaneously developing the mental wellbeing of their workforce.

I delivered a large scale mental health programme to management teams, educating about signs of mental ill-health, building understanding and empathy.

During this time, managers grew in their confidence and ability in how to respond and support their teams.

WISC is the umbrella body representing independent schools in Wales, offering high quality education with a focus on individual care and development.

With shared objectives of enhancing wellbeing potential and encouraging younger people to thrive in their mental health, we have a good working relationship whereby I offer positive psychology tools that are appropriate for staff teams and pupils.

WISC is successfully implementing these tools, which benefit both adults and children alike.

St Andrew’s Healthcare

St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental health care for patients with some of the most challenging mental health needs in the UK.

Assisting in the full Dialectical Behaviour Therapy programme of a medium secure inpatient ward, our team supported people with Borderline Personality Disorder.

With techniques including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness, we enabled distressed individuals to return to society and engage in happier, healthier lives.

Girl’s Schools Association

The Girl’s School Association represents the Heads of a diverse range of independent UK girl’s schools and helps girls and their teachers to flourish.

I introduced Positive Wellbeing in Education to the leadership teams at their annual conference and continue to advise members of staff in Positive Psychology techniques, which benefit the mental health of students as well as staff.

I introduced Positive Leadership and Workplace Wellbeing to their suite of courses, assisting local businesses in their endeavours to adopt positive culture strategies and develop better mental health awareness at work.

Together, we’re working in partnership with the community to raise participation and achievement with long term business solutions for companies of all sizes.

ISCA Wellbeing Ltd

A company dedicated to improving the wellbeing of seafarers, Isca Wellbeing Ltd provides weekly wellbeing videos to crew, delivers UK Chamber of Shipping endorsed mental health training to shore-side staff and seafarers, and offers a number of consultancy services to the industry. I support the team in their mission to look after the mental health of the entire seafaring community.

I offer consultancy services, review their mental health videos, activities and advice. This supports the wellbeing team in their mission to look after he mental health of the entire workforce in an industry that recognises the importance of this, whether at home or away.
